Beirut : Urbicide 75/08
Interconnections between cities and political violence remain largely to explore. This research project concentrates empirically on Beirut, exploring how state and non-state actors coexist in everyday geographies of violence, and how the urban built environment mediates the practices and meanings of urban warfare.
